Rising Star Isaia Lasoi 3rd at Ras Al Khaimah half marathon

In the recent Ras Al Khaimah half marathon, Isaia Lasoi clinched the third position, clocking in at an impressive 58:55, marking a significant personal record. He has been making progress since his debut half marathon in Venlo (2023), where he secured the second position with a time of 59:27. He showcased immense potential right from the start. He comes from Kericho, Isaia has made a dream start in the athletics world. His powerful and efficient running style, combined with his positive mindset, mark him as a natural talent destined for great achievements.

 

Cintia Chepngeno and Vincent Langat won the African Championships Cross Country

Meanwhile, Cintia Chepngeno (22) and Vincent Langat (23) have made outstanding achievements during the African Championships. They both obtained a first position, making them serious contenders for the World Cross Country Championships, for which qualification takes place this upcoming Saturday. Both athletes, training companions within the same group in Keringet, have been sources of inspiration for each other and their peers. As they gear up for the qualifying race in Nairobi, anticipation runs high for their continued success on the international stage.

 

Diana Chepkorir 3rd at the Catstillon 10 km

In a remarkable international debut, 21-year-old Diana Chepkorir secured the third position in the Catstillon 10 km race, further enhancing her reputation as the fastest female athlete within the group of Volare. While it was her first race outside Kenya, she demonstrated excellent form with a time of 29:56, placing her among the absolute top. With the experience gained from her recent races, she is now well-positioned to thrive in future competitions, establishing herself as a promising talent worth watching.
